By Car FROM THE SOUTH........ Exit the M6 at Junction 21 signposted Warrington A57. Turn left at the roundabout onto Manchester Road. Continue along this straight road for about 2 miles. Just after passing the Cemetery on your left hand side the road forks. Stay to the left (don't go right and through the traffic lights!) and you will pass Sainsburys on your right. At the end of this road turn left at the roundabout and this will take you onto Mersey Street (see map below). Follow the road to the end and then from the middle lane go over the bridge onto Wilderspool Causeway. To enter the official car park turn left at the roundabout by the church, otherwise go straight on and the ground is on your left.
FROM THE NORTH........ Exit the M6 at Junction 22. Follow the signs for Warrington town centre along the A49. Once you have gone straight across a number of roundabouts and past the Halliwell Jones Stadium you will come to a set of crossroads with lights (Jaguar dealer on the right), again go straight on. After the crossroads is another larger roundabout. Go straight across this (third exit) to the next roundabout. Go straight on again at this roundabout and it will take you onto Mersey Steet then follow the directions as above.
FROM THE EAST / WEST........ Exit the M62 at Junction 9 Signposted Warrington A49. Turn left off the motorway onto the A49 and follow the signs for the town Centre as North directions above.
By Train
FROM BANK QUAY STATION
Exit the station and turn right. Follow the road to the main roundabout (past Mr Smith's Nighclub). Keep to the right hand side of the road and follow the pavement as you cross over the River Mersey. At the bottom of the bridge cross the dual carriageway towards the bus depot. Between the bus depot and St James' church is a car park which if crossed takes you to the back of Wilderspool Stadium and the entrance on matchday.
Walking time approx. 20 minutes.
FROM CENTRAL STATION (Liverpool - Manchester line)
Exit the station and turn left. Follow the road to the lights, cross and walk straight through the pedestrianised area of the town centre. Follow the road through to the roundabout - keep to the right. At the traffic lights, cross the road towards Mr Smith's Nightclub. Keeping to the right, cross over the River Mersey. At the bottom of the bridge cross the dual carriageway towards the bus depot. Between the bus depot and St James' church is a car park which if crossed takes you to the back of Wilderspool Stadium and the entrance on matchday.
